Per Labour Protection Act Section 118: 120 days–1 year = 30 days, 1–3 years = 90 days, 3–6 years = 180 days, 6–10 years = 240 days, 10–20 years = 300 days, and 20+ years = 400 days of wages.
No. Section 118 severance applies only when the employer terminates employment without the employee being at fault. Voluntary resignation or dismissal for serious misconduct does not qualify.
