What is Net Salary?
Net salary is the amount you actually receive after deductions from your gross salary, including social security contributions, withholding tax, and other deductions.
Formula
Net Salary = Gross − Social Security − Withholding Tax − Other Deductions
Social Security (Section 33)
Employees contribute 5% of salary, capped at a base of 15,000 THB, meaning a maximum of 750 THB/month.
Withholding Tax
Employers withhold monthly tax based on estimated annual tax liability, calculated from annual salary minus expenses and allowances, applied through progressive brackets, then divided by 12.
