Most restaurants aim for a food cost of 25–35% of the selling price. Lower is more profitable but must not compromise food quality.
Recommended price = ingredient cost ÷ (target food cost% / 100). For example, cost 30 THB at 30% target → price = 30 ÷ 0.30 = 100 THB.
